  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, and garlic powder.
  3. Cut in the Butter: Using a pastry cutter or fork, cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add Cheese: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  5. Add Buttermilk: Gradually pour in the buttermilk, stirring gently until the dough just comes together. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Shape the Biscuits: Scoop out 2-tablespoon-sized portions of dough and drop them onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
