  • 4 fillets salmon fillets Fresh or frozen salmon can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with maple syrup for a twist.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Fresh herbs Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, Dijon mustard, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet. Generously sprinkle salt and pepper over the top.
  4. Using a brush or spoon, spread the honey mustard glaze over each fillet, ensuring they’re nicely coated.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with toppings such as chopped herbs, sesame seeds, or crushed nuts. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at low temperature to maintain moisture.
