Ingredients
  

Crust and Topping
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts For the bottom and top crust
  • 1 cup oats Old-fashioned or quick oats will work
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Filling
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21 ounces) Choose your favorite brand

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Unroll the refrigerated pie crusts into the baking dish, pressing them evenly along the bottom.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until a crumbly mixture forms.
  5. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the pie crust in the dish.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbly topping mixture over the cherry filling.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  2. Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

For variations, consider adding chopped nuts or using different fruit fillings, such as blueberries or peaches. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
