Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Remove the steak from the fridge and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps it cook evenly.
- Pat the steak dry with a paper towel.
Seasoning
- Rub the steak with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle salt and black pepper all over. If using garlic, rub it on as well.
Cooking
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle over high heat for about 10-15 minutes.
- Place the seasoned steak on the hot griddle and allow it to sear for about 4-5 minutes without moving it.
- Flip the steak over and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness.
Resting and Serving
- Once cooked to your preference, transfer the steak to a plate and cover it with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Slice the steak against the grain, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze for 2-3 months. Reheat gently on the griddle or skillet over low heat.
