  • **Mix the sauce**: In a bowl, whisk together the orange marmalade and BBQ sauce until well blended.
  • **Sear the chicken**: Season the chicken lightly with salt and pepper (optional). In a skillet over medium-high heat, add a small amount of oil. Sear the chicken on both sides until browned, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  • **Add the sauce**: Reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour the marmalade-BBQ mixture over the chicken, turning each piece to coat it well. Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C).

  • **Preheat oven**: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
