Ingredients
  

For the Goulash
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • optional Grated cheese for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain off any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped bell pepper to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes (with juice), tomato sauce, and beef broth. Mix well to combine.
  4. Add the elbow macaroni and Italian seasoning to the pot. Stir everything together.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender.
  6. Season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
  7. Ladle the goulash into bowls and top with grated cheese if desired. Enjoy your delicious meal!
