Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped white chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in short intervals, stirring in between until melted and smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar with the melted chocolate mixture. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. If using white chocolate chips, fold them in gently.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, making sure not to overbake.
- The edges should be set while the center remains slightly gooey.
Cooling and Serving
- Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy.
Notes
For a healthier version, substitute some all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour or use coconut oil instead of butter for a dairy-free option. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
