Ingredients
  

For the Coffee
  • 1 cup Coffee, brewed (any preferred strength) Aim for a medium to strong brew.
For the Strawberry Mix
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, hulled and sliced Plus extra for topping.
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Adjust to taste.
For Topping
  • 1/2 cup Whipped Cream Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Enhances flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by hulking and slicing your fresh strawberries. Place them in a mixing bowl and mash them with a fork or potato masher until they reach a smooth consistency.
  2. Brew your coffee using your preferred method while you mash the strawberries.
  3. Add sugar to the mashed strawberries and mix well. Let it sit for a few minutes to draw out the juices.
  4. In a large glass, combine the brewed coffee with the sweetened strawberry mash. Gently stir to mix.
  5. Add whipped cream generously on top of the coffee-strawberry mixture, swirling to create a marbled effect.
  6. Finish off with a sprinkle of crushed strawberries on top. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan version, use plant-based whipped cream and non-dairy milk. Consume fresh for the best taste, and store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, keeping the whipped cream on the side.
