Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice with olive oil and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to whip until smooth and creamy.
Assembly
- Spread a generous layer of the whipped feta mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
- Drizzle a bit of hot honey over the feta-topped crostini. Adjust the amount depending on how spicy you want it.
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs for presentation and added flavor.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Store the whipped feta in an airtight container for up to 3 days, but the crostini are best enjoyed fresh. If reheating, refresh toasted baguette in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes before serving.
