  • 8 oz egg noodles Use your preferred type of egg noodle.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Unsalted butter is recommended.
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced Adjust amount to taste if you prefer less garlic.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Replace with mushroom sauce for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce Can be omitted for a vegetarian dish.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped For garnish and added flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.

Method
 

Cooking the Noodles
  1. Boil a large pot of water and cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. In a large skillet or wok, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant and golden brown.
Mixing Ingredients
  1. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and fish sauce, stirring well to blend the flavors.
  2. Add the sugar and mix until dissolved.
  3. Add the cooked noodles and toss them gently to coat with the sauce.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and toss for another 2-3 minutes.
Final Touches
  1. Sprinkle in the chopped green onions and toss everything together one last time.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For variations, feel free to customize with additional toppings such as crushed peanuts or lime juice. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days and reheat gently with a splash of water.
