Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan with coconut oil or use parchment paper.
- In a food processor, blend the rinsed black beans, cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Transfer the batter to a bowl and gently fold in the dark chocolate chips.
Baking
- Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes for optimal texture.
