  • 2 cups brewed jasmine tea Use halal-compliant tea
Milk and Flavoring
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) Choose based on personal preference
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup or vanilla extract Adjust based on taste
  • Ice optional Ice For cooling, if making iced version
  • Jasmine flowers optional Jasmine flowers for garnish For presentation

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by boiling water and steep the jasmine tea bags in a teapot or heatproof pitcher for about 5-7 minutes.
  2. While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a small saucepan over low heat until warm but not boiling.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Remove the tea bags or strain the loose leaves from the tea.
  2. Mix in the vanilla syrup or extract to the brewed tea.
Serving
  1. If desired, add ice to individual glasses for a refreshing iced version.
  2. Pour in the warm milk and stir gently to combine.
  3. Garnish with jasmine flowers and serve hot or cold.

Notes

Store any leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove.
