Method

Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, heat 2 cups of milk over medium-low heat. Stir gently to prevent scorching.
  2. Once the milk is warm (but not boiling), add 1-2 tea bags or 1-2 teaspoons of loose-leaf black tea. Steep for 3-5 minutes depending on your taste preference.
  3. Remove the tea bags (if using) and stir in 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 1-2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, and sugar if desired. Adjust according to your sweetness preference.
  4. Pour the mixture into your favorite mug, sprinkle a touch more cinnamon on top for garnish, and enjoy your cozy beverage.

Notes

For a twist, experiment with different types of milk like coconut, oat, or cashew. Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup, and avoid boiling when reheating to maintain flavor.
