  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted Use quality butter for best flavor.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs Room temperature eggs work best.
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract Opt for pure vanilla rather than imitation.
Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Optional but recommended for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, whisking until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  5. If using, gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow the brownies to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares.
  2. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce, or enjoy with a glass of cold milk.

Notes

For optimal results, avoid overmixing and let the brownies cool before slicing. They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
