Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth using a fork.
- Mix in the melted butter until well combined.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and gently stir.
- Add the flour last and stir until just combined to avoid over-mixing.
- Pour the batter into a greased 4x8 inch loaf pan and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
