Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line your muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  3. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  6. Add the milk and vanilla extract into the mixture.
  7. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mix until just combined.
  8. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each liner about two-thirds full.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let the cupcakes cool for about 10 minutes in the tin before transferring to a wire rack.
Decoration
  1. Once fully cooled, frost with your favorite frosting and sprinkle generously with decorations.
