Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a greased pizza stone or pan.
Assembling
- Evenly sprinkle a generous layer of cheese over the sauce on the pizza dough.
- If you’re using additional toppings, like tomatoes or veggies, sprinkle them over the cheese.
Baking
- Place the pizza in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Carefully remove the pizza from the oven. Crack eggs on top, spacing them out evenly, and return the pizza to the oven.
- Continue baking for an additional 5 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your liking.
Finishing Touches
- Once it’s out of the oven, give it a sprinkle of salt and pepper before slicing it up. Enjoy!
Notes
For perfectly runny egg yolks, reduce the heat slightly during the last minutes of baking. If making your own dough, let it rest before rolling for easier stretching. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
