Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets, leaving some stalk on for texture.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and toss them in the seasoning mixture until they are thoroughly coated.
  5. Lay the broccoli out in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  2. For the last five minutes, sprinkle Parmesan cheese or Halal cheese on top, adding red pepper flakes if desired.
Serving
  1. Once the broccoli is tender and crispy, remove it from the oven and serve as a delightful side to your main dish.
