Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until just combined.
- Scoop out portions and roll them into meatballs, aiming for about 1 inch in diameter.
- Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a separate pot.
- Once the meatballs are ready, add them to the marinara sauce and let simmer for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with extra parsley or Parmesan on top before serving.
Notes
Store leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer before transferring to freezer-safe bags for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes.
