- In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, diced celery, diced onion, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assembly
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly on two slices of bread. Top each with a slice of cheese, and then place the remaining bread slices on top.
- Spread butter on the outer sides of the sandwiches.
Cooking
- In a skillet over medium heat, place the sandwiches. Grill each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
