Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 6 slices slices of bread, cubed (preferably thick-cut) Use day-old bread for best texture.
  • 2 cups mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries) Feel free to substitute with peaches or cherries.
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter (for greasing)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
  3. Spread the cubed bread evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  5. Gently fold the mixed berries into the custard mixture, then pour it over the bread.
  6. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until golden and fluffy.
  7. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serve warm.

Notes

For meal preps, consider making a double batch and freezing half. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
