Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, remove from the heat.
- Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this mix to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the toffee bits, reserving some for sprinkling on top later.
Baking
- Pour the brownie batter into your prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle the reserved toffee bits on top for an extra crunchy layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
