Ingredients
  

For the Tiramisu Balls
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese Creamy cheese for the filling
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled) For dipping the ladyfingers
  • 24 pieces ladyfingers (Halal-friendly) Main structure for the balls
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder For coating the balls
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar To sweeten the mascarpone mixture
  • 3 pieces egg yolks Thickens the mixture
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract For added flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee and allow it to cool.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, making sure not to soak them too long.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, break the dipped ladyfingers into small pieces and fold them into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  5. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Once chilled, roll each ball in cocoa powder to give them a lovely finish.
  8. Garnish with extra cocoa powder if desired and serve cold.

Notes

You can store your Tiramisu Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. They also freeze well when layered with parchment paper.
