- Clean the mushrooms by wiping with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
- Finely chop the mushroom stems.
Mixing Stuffing
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, minced garlic, chopped mushroom stems, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Assembling
- Generously fill each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture.
- Arrange stuffed mushrooms on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Baking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a crispier topping, broil the mushrooms for a minute or two after baking. Allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.
