  • 1 cup almond milk (or your preferred non-dairy milk) Can substitute with oat or soy milk.
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup To taste.
Toppings
  • 1/2 banana sliced Optional topping.
  • to taste servings chopped nuts or seeds Optional, for crunch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by adding the rolled oats to a mason jar or bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, matcha powder, and honey or maple syrup until well-combined.
  3. Pour the matcha mixture over the oats in the jar. Stir to ensure all the oats are covered in the liquid.
  4. Layer the sliced banana on top if desired. You can also sprinkle nuts or seeds for added texture.
  5. Give the jar a good shake or stir to mix everything evenly.
  6. Cover the jar and place it in the fridge overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and flavors.
  7. In the morning, simply grab your oats and dig in! You can enjoy it cold or warm it slightly in the microwave for a cozy twist.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Microwave for 30-60 seconds for a warm dish. For vegan, replace honey with maple syrup.
