- Start by adding the rolled oats to a mason jar or bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, matcha powder, and honey or maple syrup until well-combined.
- Pour the matcha mixture over the oats in the jar. Stir to ensure all the oats are covered in the liquid.
- Layer the sliced banana on top if desired. You can also sprinkle nuts or seeds for added texture.
- Give the jar a good shake or stir to mix everything evenly.
- Cover the jar and place it in the fridge overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and flavors.
- In the morning, simply grab your oats and dig in! You can enjoy it cold or warm it slightly in the microwave for a cozy twist.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Microwave for 30-60 seconds for a warm dish. For vegan, replace honey with maple syrup.
