Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons butter For sautéing the chicken
  • 1 cup heavy cream For the creamy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala Spice for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Method

Cooking the Chicken
  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces along with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Cook until the chicken is lightly browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat slightly.
  2. Add the tomato paste, heavy cream, garlic powder, and garam masala.
  3. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Simmering
  1. Allow the sauce to simmer for 5-7 minutes, letting the flavors meld together and the sauce thicken slightly.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency, remove it from the heat.
  2. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for better flavor. You can substitute chicken with shrimp or paneer for a vegetarian version. Avoid cooking the chicken at too high of heat to keep it tender. If reheating, add a splash of cream or water to maintain creaminess.
