  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved Make sure to wash thoroughly and trim any tough stems.
  • 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce Alternatively, use homemade teriyaki sauce for customization.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Ensure they are well coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Roasting
  1. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
  2. Once tender and caramelized, remove from the oven and drizzle with teriyaki sauce. Toss to coat every sprout.
Serving
  1. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy immediately. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds or chopped green onions on top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to a month. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
