Assembly
- In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the meat mixture evenly at the bottom.
- Top with a generous layer of tater tots, covering the entire surface.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the tater tots, adding more if you love a cheesy crust.
Baking
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
