Craving the flavors of Taco Bell but want to make it at home? This Taco Bell Beefy Melt Burrito recipe brings the fast-food favorite to your kitchen! Packed with seasoned ground beef, gooey melted cheese, creamy nacho cheese sauce, and fluffy rice, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla, this burrito is hearty, flavorful, and easy to make.
- For the Beef Filling
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning or homemade blend
- ½ cup water
- For the Burritos
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup nacho cheese sauce
- ½ cup sour cream optional
- For Garnish
- Fresh cilantro chopped
- Salsa or hot sauce optional
Step 1: Cook the Beef
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
Step 2: Assemble the Burritos
Warm the tortillas in the microwave or on a skillet to make them pliable. Spread a layer of cooked rice in the center of each tortilla. Top with the seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce, and sour cream (if using).
Step 3: Fold the Burritos
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a burrito.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
Serve the burritos immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro and salsa or hot sauce if desired.
