Preparation
- Start by rinsing your Brussels sprouts under cold water. Trim the ends and cut them in half.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey or maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cooking
- On a large baking sheet, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with the glaze until well coated.
- Spread them out evenly in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes. Halfway through, give them a stir.
- Once they’re beautifully golden brown and tender, remove them from the oven.
Serving
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze them flat before transferring to a freezer-safe container. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes or in a skillet.
