Salad Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced Choose ripe, juicy strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds (or your favorite nuts) Other nuts can be substituted if preferred.
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese Goat cheese can be used instead.

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing Add more or less to taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly to remove any dirt. Spin dry or pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Hull and slice the strawberries and thinly slice the red onion if using.
Assembly
  1. In a large salad bowl, place the fresh spinach, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  2. Gently scatter the sliced strawberries over the spinach.
  3. Top the salad with sliced almonds (or any nuts you prefer) and crumbled feta cheese.
  4. Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad and lightly toss everything together.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste and give it a final toss.
Serving
  1. Serve the salad fresh, or keep it chilled until ready to enjoy.

Notes

For best flavor, enjoy the salad immediately. If storing leftovers, keep in an airtight container for up to 2 days. It's best to keep the dressing separate until ready to serve.
