  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use high-quality soy sauce for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, vegetable oil, and ground ginger. Whisk until well blended and the sugar dissolves.
Cooking the Chicken

Serving
  1. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice or serve whole, drizzled with the extra sauce from the skillet, and garnish with fresh parsley or sliced green onions.
Enjoy
  1. Dig in and enjoy the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors that will leave you craving more!

Notes

For more flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for at least an hour before cooking. Adjust the sweetness to your preference by reducing the amount of brown sugar. Store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage.
