Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces to ensure each morsel is bursting with flavor.
  2. In a bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.
  3. Place the sliced kielbasa in the crock pot and pour the sauce mixture over it. Give it a gentle stir to coat the pieces evenly.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crock pot and set it to cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, give it a stir and serve warm as an appetizer or a filling dish with sides.

Notes

For a different flavor profile, swap out honey for maple syrup. Stir halfway through cooking to ensure even coating and prevent sticking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
