Cooking
- Place the meatballs gently in the crockpot and pour the sauce mixture over them, ensuring each meatball is well-coated.
- Set the crockpot on low and let it cook for 6 hours or on high for about 3 hours until the meatballs are cooked through.
Serving
- Once done, remove the meatballs and serve them over steamed rice, garnished with pineapple chunks and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Don’t overmix the meat mixture; otherwise, your meatballs could become dense. Experiment with herbs and spices like ginger or cilantro to enhance the flavor profile. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the meatballs reaches 165°F.
