Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds chicken wings Fresh or frozen, thawed if previously frozen.
  • 1/4 cup honey For sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Adds depth of flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons jerk seasoning Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Helps with marination.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste Optional seasoning.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, jerk seasoning, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring each wing is generously coated. For best results, let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or even overnight for maximum flavor).
Cooking
  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the marinated wings in a single layer.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  3. Drizzle any leftover marinade on top and return them to the oven for an extra 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with toppings like sesame seeds or chopped green onions. A cold beer or tropical fruit punch pairs well with the wings.
