  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar substitute like Stevia or Erythritol
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the finely shredded apples and unsweetened applesauce, mixing thoroughly.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the almond flour, oat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and sugar substitute until there are no clumps.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet apple mixture. Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs until everything is well combined.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven for a few seconds at 350°F (175°C).
