Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the finely shredded apples and unsweetened applesauce, mixing thoroughly.
- In another bowl, whisk together the almond flour, oat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and sugar substitute until there are no clumps.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet apple mixture. Stir in the vanilla extract and eggs until everything is well combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven for a few seconds at 350°F (175°C).
