- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even cooking.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onions, minced garlic, chopped parsley, eggs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands.
- Shape about two-thirds of the mixture into a rectangular loaf on a clean surface.
- Place the shredded mozzarella cheese in the center of the shaped loaf.
- Use the remaining meat mixture to cover the cheese, molding it back into a loaf shape.
- Spread the ketchup evenly over the top before baking.
- Bake in the oven for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing for easier serving.
