Strawberry Vanilla Bean Ice Cream: A Sweet Scoop of Bliss!

OMG yummm! Tried this for the first time last night, and it will definitely not be the last. I think the whole family is hooked! 😍 It’s time we adore our taste buds and treat ourselves to something truly special.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 vanilla bean split and scraped (for that amazing flavor)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries pureed

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the base: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. This should only take a few minutes of whisking.
  • Flavor it up: Stir in the pure vanilla extract and the scraped seeds from the vanilla bean. This step adds an extra layer of deliciousness!
  • Add the strawberries: Fold in the fresh strawberry puree gently into the mixture. You want a nice blend without losing that heavenly strawberry flavor.
  • Chill: Cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours—overnight is even better!
  • Churn: Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it thickens to your desired consistency (around 20-25 minutes).
  • Freeze: Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and let it freeze for another 4 hours, or until completely solid.
