Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
For the cheesecake filling
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream Reserve 1.5 cups for folding into the filling and 0.5 cups for topping.
For the topping
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced Fresh strawberries work best.
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam To enhance berry flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Chill it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to set.
Making the Cheesecake Filling
  1. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, blending until well combined.
  2. Gently fold in 1 1/2 cups of the whipped cream until creamy and smooth. Be careful not to over-mix.
Assembling
  1. Pour the cheesecake filling over the chilled crust and spread it evenly.
  2. Layer the sliced strawberries on top and drizzle with strawberry jam.
Chilling
  1. Cover the dessert and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  2. Before serving, top with the remaining whipped cream and a few extra strawberry slices for garnish.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor. For variations, substitute strawberries with raspberries or blueberries. Allow the dessert to chill longer for better flavor melding.
