  • 1 cup white rum
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup Adjust to taste.
  • 2 cups soda water or club soda
  • Ice cubes

  • Fresh mint leaves For garnish.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the hulled and sliced strawberries with a sprinkle of sugar (optional). Allow them to sit for about 5-10 minutes to release their juices.
  2. In a large pitcher, pour in the white rum, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add the prepared strawberries to the pitcher, mixing gently to incorporate all the flavors.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the strawberry mixture over the ice, filling each glass about three-quarters full.
  5. Top off each glass with soda water or club soda, giving it a gentle stir to combine.
  6. Finish with fresh mint leaves and lime slices for that beautiful presentation.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy this delightful drink on a sunny day!

Notes

Strawberry Rum Punch is best served fresh; the soda can lose its fizz over time. Store mixed ingredients (minus soda) in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
