  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced Best when ripe
  • 1 cup tequila Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup triple sec Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed For the best flavor
  • 4 cups lemon-lime soda Can substitute with Sprite
  • Ice For serving
  • Salt for rimming glasses Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by adding the fresh strawberries to a blender. Blend them until smooth and well combined.
  2. In a large pitcher, mix in the tequila, triple sec, and lime juice with the blended strawberries. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  3. Gently pour in the lemon-lime soda and stir again to incorporate the fizz, being careful not to lose too much carbonation.
  4. If you’re using salt for rimming, run a lime wedge around the edge of each glass and dip it into salt, coating the rim.
  5. Fill each glass with ice and pour the strawberry margarita punch over it. Garnish with additional strawberry slices or mint if desired. Enjoy responsibly!

Notes

For lighter options, serve with shrimp tacos or chicken fajitas. Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor and consider omitting tequila for a non-alcoholic version.
