  • 1 cup tequila (silver or reposado)
  • 1 box strawberry gelatin (3 oz)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup Adjust to desired sweetness.
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a pan.
  2. Pour the boiling water into a mixing bowl.
  3. Sprinkle the packet of strawberry gelatin over the hot water and stir until completely dissolved.
  4. Pour in the tequila, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. Stir gently to combine all the flavors.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into small plastic shot glasses or a silicone mold, filling them about three-quarters full.
  6. Place your shots in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours, or until fully set.
  7. Once set, take your shots out and garnish with fresh strawberries or a lime wedge. Optionally, rim the cups in salt.

Notes
