Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries Make sure they are ripe for maximum sweetness.
  • 1 cup ice To give it that chilly, frosty consistency.
  • 1/2 cup milk Dairy or plant-based for a Halal-friendly option.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds a lovely hint of flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Fresh strawberries are key, so ensure they are vibrant and fresh.
  2. In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries, ice, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Start blending on low speed, then gradually increase until the mixture is smooth. This usually takes about 30-60 seconds.
  4. After blending, taste your frappe. If it needs more sweetness, feel free to add a little more sugar, blend again, and taste.
  5. Pour the strawberry frappe into tall glasses and enjoy it right away. Garnish with whipped cream or extra slices of fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

While best enjoyed fresh, you can store leftover mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a day. For freezing, pour into ice cube trays, freeze, then blend with milk for a quick treat.
