Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 4 cups leafy lettuce, chopped your choice of greens
  • 1 cup canned pineapple chunks, drained
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 2 cups Cool Whip, thawed
Crunchy Toppings
  • 1 cup crushed nuts (like almonds or walnuts)
  • 1 cup sugared pecans store-bought or homemade

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash fresh strawberries thoroughly. Hull and slice them into bite-sized pieces. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, sliced strawberries, and drained pineapple chunks. Carefully mix them to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  2. Gently fold in the miniature marshmallows, keeping them fluffy.
  3. Add the Cool Whip and stir gently until all ingredients are coated.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle the crushed nuts and sugared pecans on top just before serving.
  2. Gently remix the salad if needed and serve chilled.

Notes

Add crushed nuts right before serving to maintain their crunch. You can use maple syrup instead of sugar for the nuts if desired.
