Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen) Fresh strawberries should be rinsed and tops removed.
  • 1 cup coconut milk Can substitute with almond milk or oat milk.
  • 1 piece banana (ripe) Ripe bananas will add more sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional; adjust to taste.
  • as needed Ice cubes Adds chill to the smoothie.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. If using fresh strawberries, rinse them well and remove the tops. Peel the banana and gather the coconut milk and optional sweeteners.
Blending
  1. In a blender, combine the strawberries, banana, and coconut milk. Add honey if you like it sweeter, and toss in a handful of ice cubes.
  2. Blend on high speed for about 30-45 seconds or until a silky consistency is achieved.
  3. Taste the smoothie, and if it needs more sweetness, add more honey and blend again.
Serving
  1. Pour the smoothie into your favorite glass, add extra strawberries or granola on top, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For best results, use fully ripe fruit. Smoothies can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but are best enjoyed fresh.
