  1. Gather all the ingredients. If your chicken isn’t already cooked, ensure you have cooked it beforehand or purchase pre-cooked rotisserie chicken.
  2. In a large salad bowl, place the fresh spinach or mixed greens as the base of your salad.
  3. Scatter the shredded or cubed chicken evenly on top of the greens.
  4. Add the sliced strawberries on top, arranging them artistically.
  5. Toss in the sliced almonds and optional feta cheese.
  6. Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad and give it a light toss.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately.

Notes

For variations, consider swapping the chicken for grilled shrimp or tofu. Let the salad sit in the fridge for about 10 minutes before serving to meld the flavors. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, keeping the dressing separate until ready to serve.
