Cookie Base
  • 1 box 1 box of strawberry cake mix (about 15.25 ounces) Make sure to pick a cake mix that is Halal-compliant.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with coconut oil.
  • 2 large 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup white chocolate chips Optional but recommended for extra flavor.
For Dusting
  • Powdered sugar for dusting Optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended, ensuring there are no lumps.
  3. Fold in the white chocolate chips, if using.
  4. Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the edges are set.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before dusting with powdered sugar and transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
