  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce (1 jar)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 cup black olives, halved For spider shapes
  • 1 cup mozzarella balls For spooky eyes
  • to taste Fresh basil For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the marinara sauce, seasoning it with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes to meld the flavors.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce, tossing gently until all strands are well coated. Remove from heat.
  5. Arrange slices of black olives to create spider shapes on top of the spaghetti. Use mozzarella balls as eyes and place them strategically.
  6. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh basil for a pop of color.
  7. Transfer to serving plates and enjoy your spooky creation while it’s warm!
