Ingredients

For the Filling
  • 2 cups spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets Make sure to thaw before use.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined and creamy.
  3. On a clean, floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets to smooth them out. Cut each sheet into large rectangles (about 10x12 inches).
  4. Evenly spread the spinach-artichoke mixture over each pastry rectangle, leaving about an inch border on each edge.
  5. Starting from one edge, carefully roll the pastry sheet into a log. Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them on a lined baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these flavorful bites fresh from the oven!

Notes

Substitutions include roasted red peppers or sautéed mushrooms for artichokes. Avoid overfilling to prevent spilling during baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
