  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a tangy twist.
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Use your preferred cheese.
  • 1 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced Adds a fresh touch.
For Serving
  • Tortilla chips For serving with the dip.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Blend them until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the salsa and taco seasoning to the mixture, stirring thoroughly until everything is well combined.
Layering
  1. Spread the mixture evenly into a serving dish.
  2. Top with shredded cheese, followed by a layer of sliced olives and green onions.
Chilling
  1. Allow the dip to sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Can be frozen for up to a month; thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
